- Sight-First is one of
our focused areas, as we value the sight. The importance of
sight will be known once we lost it. Therefore, HELP Movement
initiates program to identify such poor old-aged persons, and would
organize Cataract at a specified time. We accept registrations
of such needy persons, who will be intimated the date and time for
such surgery once we could accumulate 15-20 persons. We are
dependable for such treatment with other like-minded NGOs,
like Lions Club International etc.

We organize eye screening camps in
various villages with periodic intervals. The short listed persons
are taken for cataract surgery from the camp site itself.

Once the surgery is over, the
patients are dropped at their homes, with required medicines and
also guidance to take care of their eyes for another 45-60 days.
They are again required to visit the hospital for periodic eye check
ups, which they will have to take care themselves.

We also help in promoting awareness
programs on eye donation.
